is there a cost to joining any of the sLi tracks?
there is no cost to join. the only cost may be the purchase of books depending on the track you are in.
is there a minimum or maximum age?
minimum — you must have at least graduated from high school.
maximum — you must be alive.
who is the intern track designed for?
the intern track is designed for those who are involved in ministry and making disciples who feel God is calling them to more and 1) they are not quite sure what that is and/or 2) they know they need more equipping. This track requires a high level of commitment and time.
who is the associate track designed for?
the intern track is usually a requirement for this track. this track is specifically designed for those who are ready to dive deeper into practical ministry experience while getting mentored and discipled.
who is the ministry residency track designed for?
the ministry residency track is designed for those who have a strong sense of calling to ministry leadership or are already involved in leading a ministry. this track is not for those with a pastor calling (1 timothy 3:1-7). This calling must be in conjunction with the approval of their local church’s leadership.
who is the pastoral residency track designed for?
the pastoral residency track is designed for those who are in or have finished an elder/pastor process in their local church and this person feels strong sense of calling to be a church planter or revitalizer. this calling must be in conjunction with the approval of their local church’s leadership.
who is the mission residency track designed for?
the mission residency track is designed for those who have a strong sense of calling to global gospel works. we primarily focus on church planting amongst “unreached” people groups. however, we will send to “reached” groups.
